Pricing

$19 a month. Nothing moves up a tier.

$19/mo for the whole back office, kept for as long as you stay.

The shop stays free for cost a piece and one fair — no product cap. The tax packet, Etsy and Square, and more fairs are the $19.

No card to start. No meter ticking up when your booth has a great Saturday, and no feature that gets quietly moved into a higher plan the year after you come to depend on it. The whole back office is in the $19. There is one add-on, MadeKeeper AI at $24 — and it adds, it never takes anything out of the $19.

Free, for as long as you like

Cost a piece from your own materials, keep the shelf you typed, and run one fair with its real profit. No product cap, no card, no clock. This is where you are from day one — not a wall.

The tax packet and Schedule C export, Etsy and Square sync, and more than one fair are the $19 below. Photo reads are MadeKeeper AI at $24.

MadeKeeper AI

$24/month, or $240 a year

The one optional add-on. $19 is the whole back office; $24 is the same thing with the typing taken off you.

  • Receipts, shelves and recipe cards read from a photo, straight into rows you check before anything saves

Photo reads are on the AI plan. Hand entry is how the $19 shop starts — and how most shops keep going.

The promises behind the number

The price lock, in writing. $19/mo holds for as long as you keep the subscription. There is no scheduled increase and no launch window that runs out — MadeKeeper does not move an existing subscription to a higher price. It isn't a discount that expires; it's written into our Terms of Service.

The anti-metering promise. MadeKeeper will never count your order lines, cap your products, or charge more because you sold well this month. And nothing that is in the $19 today gets moved out of it later — that is the habit this whole category has, and the one thing a price lock cannot protect you from. MadeKeeper AI is an add-on built on top; it took nothing away to exist, and the next add-on won't either.

The door stays open. Your records export as CSV whenever you want, leaving or staying. A tool you can walk out of is a tool you can trust while you stay.

What makers usually pay instead

MadeKeeper mapped the tools makers actually subscribe to — inventory, Etsy keyword research, email, mileage tracking, show listings, QR codes — a typical multi-channel maker's bill came to roughly $60–95 a month across four to six subscriptions (prices checked on the vendors' own pages, July 2026). Each one does its job; together they're a stack of small bills that never talk to each other.

MadeKeeper won't claim $19 replaces all of it. The mailing-list line on that bill stays where it is — MadeKeeper does not send marketing email to your buyers and is not going to, because every maker here sends from one shared reputation and a quote that has to arrive matters more. Everything else on the list it does do today: inventory with the true cost of every piece, batch labor costing, the price coach, event profit math, money reports, consignment, mileage, the Schedule C packet, Etsy and Square sync, and your own shop page. Each thing MadeKeeper absorbs next lands inside the same $19. The bill shrinks; MadeKeeper's price doesn't grow. The features page marks every line Live now or Building, and nothing else on this site is allowed to disagree with it.

Materials and true cost per piece, batch "makes" with your labor amortized in, the suggested-price coach, product variants, sales that drain stock, the market-day quick-sale screen, lot tracking, the was-this-fair-worth-it event math, money-insight reports, multi-location consignment, the cure/best-by heads-up engine, mileage, expenses, and the Schedule C tax packet are all in the app today, with guided setup and a full Craftybase history migration to get you started. So are Etsy order sync, Square card sync, your own shop page, a Buy button on your own Square account, and custom-order requests off a piece you already sold. On the $24 MadeKeeper AI plan you also get receipts, shelves and recipe cards read from a photo — photo reads are on that plan; hand entry is how the $19 shop starts. Still building: your own books answered in plain words, buying a shipping label inside the app, and a best-customers report. MadeKeeper does not send marketing email to your buyers and is not going to: every maker here sends from one shared reputation, and a quote that has to arrive matters more than a mailing list. Nothing above is dressed up as done when it is not. See the full live-vs-building list →

“But Stocksmith has a $20 plan”

It does, and their pricing FAQ is straight about the shape of it: “If you're running a single sales channel with very low order volume, Pro starts at $20/mo,” and, a line further down, “Pro connects one sales channel. You can run more than one shop on that same channel (two Etsy stores, for example), but adding a second, different channel needs Studio or above.” Two Etsy shops, fine. A second, different channel, and you are on Studio. Read 29 August 2026.

MadeKeeper's $19 has no channel to pick and no order-line meter to hit. Lot tracking and recall traceability are in it — on their ladder those start on Indie at $99/mo, per that same page. So are consignment, the money reports, mileage and the year-end Schedule C packet. None of it moves to a higher tier later, because the only thing above the $19 is MadeKeeper AI at $24 — and that adds photo data entry; it takes nothing out of the $19.

And the number a pricing table can't hold: whether last Saturday actually paid. MadeKeeper takes the booth fee and the drive off the day's takings, then divides what's left by the hours you stood behind the table. That is the reason it exists. The full side-by-side, with sources →

Fair questions

When does billing start?

$19/mo for the whole back office, kept for as long as you stay. Nothing is charged until you subscribe, and MadeKeeper does not ask for a card to start them — you add one when you decide to subscribe, and not before.

Will my $19 stay $19?

Yes. It holds for as long as you keep the subscription — there is no scheduled increase, and MadeKeeper does not move an existing subscription to a higher price. It's in the Terms, not just on this page.

Can I export my data and leave?

Yes, any time, as CSV, from inside the app. It is four buttons: materials, products, recipes, and the tax packet for any date range, which carries a line item for every sale, booth fee, mileage claim and expense in it. No export fee, no "contact sales to get your data," no lock-in mechanism of any kind.

Is there a free tier?

Yes — a free shop, for as long as you like. Cost a piece from your own materials, keep the shelf you typed, and run one fair with its real profit — no product cap, no clock, no product AI. The tax packet and Schedule C export, Etsy and Square sync, and more than one fair are the $19. The free shop is yours from the first second, no card; you land on the free shop, not a wall. The free calculators (fair profit, candle cost) stay free too. That one $19 subscription is the whole business model: no ads, no selling data, and nobody upstream pressuring MadeKeeper to squeeze you later.

Are there per-order fees or usage limits?

No — nothing is metered. Products, materials and sales are unlimited on every plan, the free shop included, and a good market season should feel good, not show up on your software bill. The free shop runs one fair; more than one, plus the tax packet export and Etsy and Square sync, are what the $19 opens.

What is MadeKeeper AI, and do I need it?

You don't need it. $19 is the whole back office — every report, and nothing you lean on gets moved into a higher plan later. MadeKeeper AI is $24 a month (or $240 a year) and it does one job: takes the typing off you. Photograph a craft-store receipt, a shelf of supplies or a stack of recipe cards and it reads them into rows you check before anything saves.

Do I need a card to start the trial?

No. Open the app and you are on the free shop; MadeKeeper asks for a card when you decide to subscribe. Nothing charges in the meantime, and nothing switches off at day fifteen without you choosing it.
